The Smurfs

The Smurfs was released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo and was developed by Infogrames - known for their many cartoon video game adaptations in the 90s. Based on the famous comics and Peyo's TV series, you can expect a charming but surprisingly tricky 2D platformer that brings the little blue heroes to life in style.

Beautifully drawn, colorful worlds in a classic comic book look - the environments almost look hand-painted. The Smurfs are animated with many details and show a lot of personality. Cheerful, catchy melodies that fit in wonderfully with the childlike, magical world. Matching sound effects, such as the typical "plop" when jumping or the rustling of leaves. Don't be fooled by the cute appearance - the game has it all! Good timing, patience and practice are required, especially in the later levels. The limited time limit in some sections also adds to the pressure.
