Astérix for the NES was developed and published by Kemco in 1991 and is based on the popular French comic series by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. The game follows the adventures of Astérix and his friend Obélix as they fight against the Roman soldiers who want to conquer the Gallic village. It is an action platformer game in which the player must navigate through various levels to defend the village and defeat the Roman troops.
