After Burner for the Famicom (also known as Nintendo Entertainment System in many regions) is a conversion of Sega's famous arcade shooter, originally released in arcades in 1987. The Famicom version of After Burner was released in 1989 and offers players an exciting flying experience with a mix of speed, action and aerial combat. The game brings the fast-paced atmosphere of the original arcade version to the home console and lets the player take on the role of a fighter pilot who has to hold his own against enemy jets and gigantic bosses.
