Theater Wars for the Panasonic 3DO is a unique turn-based strategy and simulation game released in 1995. It offers a mix of military tactics, theater and quirky comedy that sets it apart from other titles of its time.

In the game, players take control of a small but highly motivated contingent of troops acting on a fictional battlefield in a theater of warfare. The special feature of Theater Wars lies in the unconventional and humorous portrayal of war, in which the soldiers are involved in a theatrical production instead of a serious, warlike subject. It is less about realistic warfare and more about the tactics behind the actions of the troops and the telling of a "story" on the battlefield.
