Pilotwings 64 / JAP

Pilotwings 64 is a flight and simulation game released by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 in 1996. Pilotwings 64 was one of the first games to take advantage of the console's new 3D graphics, and builds on the basic ideas of the original Pilotwings from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) era. Pilotwings 64 offers players the opportunity to control various airplanes and aircraft while completing different missions and challenges.

Pilotwings 64 does not have an in-depth plot in the classic sense, but concentrates mainly on simulation and learning various flying skills. In Pilotwings 64, the player takes on the role of an aspiring pilot who attends a flight school called Pilot Academy. Here he is trained in various disciplines, from simple airplanes to futuristic devices. The main objective of Pilotwings 64 is to pass tests in order to unlock new airplanes and advance to the next level.
