Witches & Vampires: The Secrets of Ashburry

Witches & Vampires: The Secrets of Ashburry is a magical role-playing game for the Nintendo DS that was developed by Smack Down Productions in 2010. In a dark fantasy world, players take on the roles of three half-siblings, Aluna, Dariel and Ruby, who possess supernatural abilities as a witch, vampire and hybrid being. Together they face the sinister threat of Abaddon, a powerful vampire who is trying to unite six ancient amulets in order to gain infinite power.

A special feature is the potion system: using the touchscreen, you can brew magical potions from collected ingredients to heal yourself in battle or improve your strength. In addition, small mini-games - such as flying on a broom through floating rings - liven up the adventure and provide additional challenges.

Visually, the game presents itself in a simple but charming style, matching the fairytale atmosphere. The music underlines the mystical ambience, but tends to remain in the background.

Witches & Vampires: The Secrets of Ashburry is an atmospheric fantasy role-playing game that is particularly aimed at younger players and fans of magical stories.
