LEGO: Dimensions is an innovative action-adventure game with a toys-to-life concept that was also released for the Nintendo Wii U in 2015. Developed by TT Games, the game combines classic LEGO gameplay elements with real LEGO figures and an interactive toy pad that is connected to the console via USB. Players build physical LEGO figures and vehicles, place them on the pad - and watch them come to life in the game.
The plot revolves around the villain Lord Vortech, who wants to unite and dominate various worlds in the LEGO multiverse. To stop him, heroes from completely different franchises join forces - including Batman, Gandalf, Wyldstyle, as well as characters from Harry Potter, The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, Jurassic World and many more. This unique crossover experience is a key feature of LEGO: Dimensions.
The Wii U version supports the full game experience including co-op mode, where one player can use the GamePad and another the TV. With its mix of digital adventures, physical building and a huge, constantly expanding universe, LEGO: Dimensions offers a creative and varied gaming experience, especially for collectors and fans of different brands.
