Probotector for the Game Boy is a classic run-and-gun action game originally released by Konami in 1990. It is a heavily remastered version of the game Contra, which was originally released in 1987 for the arcade and later for various consoles. Due to censorship regulations in some regions at the time, the game was released as Probotector, with the human soldiers replaced by robots. This decision was also retained for the Game Boy version.
