Game & Watch: Life Boat is one of the classic handheld games from Nintendo's popular Game & Watch series, which came onto the market in the early 1980s. It was released in 1982 and is an example of the simple but addictive game mechanics that characterized these devices.

In Life Boat, the player takes on the role of a lifeguard who has to rescue two boats, each containing one person, from a sinking ship. New victims who have fallen into the water regularly appear on the screen and the player must rescue them on a boat by guiding them safely in before they drown.
