Tekken 5 / JAP

Tekken 5 is one of the most popular 3D fighting games for the PlayStation 2 and was developed by Namco. As the fifth main installment in the legendary Tekken series, the game returns to its roots and offers a perfect blend of classic arcade feel, modern technology and plenty of gameplay depth.

With over 30 playable characters, including series favorites such as Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Heihachi, Nina, King and many more, Tekken 5 offers an impressive roster of fighters. There are also five new characters, including the mysterious Raven, the Chinese fighter Feng Wei and the humorous robot Jack-5.

The combat system has been revised and is faster, more direct and more fluid than in its predecessor. Each fighter has their own style with hundreds of combos, throws and special techniques. The controls are intuitive, but at the same time deep enough to challenge even experienced players.

A special highlight is the "Devil Within" mode, a story-based single-player mode in action-adventure style, in which you control Jin Kazama through levels, fight enemies and discover secrets. The arcade versions of Tekken 1, 2 and 3 are also included as a bonus - a great tribute to the series' history.

With detailed arenas, impressive character models, cinematic cutscenes and a dynamic soundtrack, Tekken 5 also sets new technical standards on the PS2.
