Capcom's acclaimed action-adventure series reaches a spectacular climax with Onimusha 3: Demon Siege - bringing time travel, two playable heroes and Hollywood flair to the PlayStation 2 for the first time.
The story begins in feudal Japan: the samurai Samanosuke Akechi is once again fighting against the demonic Genma when he is suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into modern-day Paris in 2004. At the same time, the French elite soldier Jacques Blanc - played by actor Jean Reno - is catapulted into 16th century Japan. Two heroes, two times, one common goal: to save humanity from extinction.
Onimusha 3: Demon Siege combines fast-paced sword fights, a dark atmosphere and cinematic staging to create a gripping adventure. Each hero has his own abilities: Samanosuke relies on classic samurai techniques and magic, while Jacques fights with an energy whip and uses modern gadgets.
Particularly impressive is the fluid switching between past and present, which not only characterizes the story, but also the puzzle design. Many obstacles can only be overcome by both heroes working together in their timeline - clever and varied.
Technically, Onimusha 3: Demon Siege gets the most out of the PS2: detailed character models, impressive lighting effects and cinematic cutscenes make the game a real experience.
Onimusha 3: Demon Siege combines thrilling samurai action with modern technology and an exciting time travel story. With its two strong main characters, fluid combat system and impressive staging, it is one of the best action adventures on the PS2 - a must for fans of Japanese mythology and intense battles.
