Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny continues Capcom's dark action series on the PlayStation 2 and takes you back to war-torn 16th century Japan - a world full of demons, samurai and mystical powers.

You take on the role of Jubei Yagyu, a fearless swordsman who faces the demonic threat of the Genma. These sinister creatures, led by the reawakened Nobunaga Oda, threaten to plunge the country into chaos. As Jubei, you discover that you also have special powers - the gift of the Oni, with which you can absorb the souls of your enemies and strengthen your weapons.

The game offers a mixture of fast-paced sword fights, magical attacks and puzzles that are cleverly embedded in the environment. New in Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is the relationship system: In the course of the story, you will meet various allies whose trust you can gain through conversations, decisions and gifts. These allies support you in battles and influence how the story develops - which significantly increases the replay value.

Technically, the game impresses with atmospheric, pre-rendered backgrounds, detailed character models and cinematic cutscenes. The dark atmosphere, orchestral soundtrack and fast-paced gameplay make the adventure a true classic of the PS2 era.
