Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy X for the PlayStation 2 is an epic role-playing game from Square that was released in 2001 and is considered one of the milestones of the series. It was the first Final Fantasy game on the PS2 and set new standards in graphics, storytelling and gameplay.

The story revolves around Tidus, a blitzball player who suddenly lands in the strange world of Spira after an attack on his hometown. There he joins the priestess Yuna and her companions to defeat the destructive being "Sin". On their journey, they not only discover dark secrets about Spira, but also about themselves.

Final Fantasy X's battle system is based on turn-based battles (CTB), which allows for strategic planning. Another highlight is the so-called sphere board, which can be used to develop characters individually - depending on play style and tactics.
