The gameplay of Drakengard seamlessly combines three game types: In the air, you control the dragon and sweep entire armies from the sky. On the ground, you fight your way through huge hordes of enemies as Caim, similar to Dynasty Warriors. There are also role-playing elements such as upgrading weapons, collecting magic and unlocking new abilities.
