Mario Tennis is the first part of the popular Mario Tennis series for home consoles and brings the classic tennis game into the colorful Mario universe - with a mixture of accessible gameplay, charming characters and a surprising amount of game depth.

There are over 15 well-known characters from the Mushroom Kingdom to choose from in Mario Tennis, including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario and many more - each with their own strengths, weaknesses and playing styles. Particularly noteworthy: Waluigi made his very first appearance in the Mario universe in Mario Tennis.
