Mario Kart 64 is a fun-filled racer that was released in 1997 for the Nintendo 64 and brought the series' popular multiplayer mode into the third dimension. As the successor to Super Mario Kart for the SNES, Mario Kart 64 set new standards for racing games with its mix of speed, chaos and cult characters.

In Mario Kart 64, up to four players race simultaneously over colorful, varied tracks full of obstacles, jumps and shortcuts.
