Chase H.Q. is an action-packed racing game that was released in 1990 for the Nintendo Game Boy and is based on the arcade hit of the same name by Taito. As a member of a special police unit, you take on the role of Officer Tony Gibson and chase fugitive criminals in high-speed pursuits. The aim is to catch up with the getaway vehicle within a time limit and bring it to a halt by repeatedly ramming it.
Despite the technical limitations of the Game Boy, Chase H.Q. convinces with a surprisingly dynamic display of speed, simple but exciting gameplay mechanics and a mixture of racing game and action elements. The simple controls and clear mission structure make Chase H.Q. one of the more remarkable action racing games on Nintendo's handheld console.
