Asterix at the Olympic Games

Asterix at the Olympic Games for the Nintendo DS is a sports action game based on the film of the same name. It was developed by Étranges Libellules and published by Atari in November 2007.

In the game, players accompany Asterix, Obelix and Idefix as they accompany their friend Alafolix to the Olympic Games. Alafolix wants to marry Princess Irina and has to win the games to win her heart. But Brutus, Julius Caesar's son, is also in love with Irina and does everything in his power to win the games and overthrow his father. The players take part in various disciplines to help Alafolix to victory

The graphics are in comic style and reflect the charm of the Asterix comics. The animations are fluid and the characters are richly detailed. The environments are varied and offer good variety between the different disciplines.​

Asterix at the Olympic Games for the Nintendo DS offers an entertaining mix of sport and humor.The large number of disciplines provides variety, and the two-player mode increases the fun of the game. However, the controls can be somewhat imprecise in some disciplines, which can lead to frustration.
